Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning programmes have been developed to assist security providers in complying with the new PSIRA training regulations.

These programmes focus on time and cost saving as well as PSIRA compliance. The aim is to enable the security industry to comply with a minimum disruption of their operations.

DITASA has created a unique RPL model, which consists of the following:

• Advising the learner
• Assessing the learner
• Moderating the assessment
• Providing guidance and support
• Quality assurance.

This model presents an opportunity to applicants with the relevant knowledge and experience to gain access to any of the qualifications on offer.
(Duration: RPL is conducted in two (2) half day sessions, one being an information session and the other a portfolio building/assessment session).
